Arranging Electrical Work for Your Property
-
Step 1
Choose How to Get Started
For eligible services, use Book Online to choose the service, provide the required details and select from the available appointments. Customers can also contact us by telephone, WhatsApp, email or the website enquiry form. Photographs and basic property information can help us understand the work.
-
Step 2
Receive The Price and Quotation
Published prices will be shown for eligible online-booking services. Where the scope needs assessment, we may request more information or arrange a site visit before providing a quotation.
-
Step 3
Arrange an Appointment
Online bookings will use the available diary. For enquiries and larger projects, we will agree a suitable appointment or proposed programme directly.
-
Step 4
Electrical Work Completed
Our electrician will complete the agreed work and explain any unexpected findings. Approval will be obtained before chargeable additional work proceeds, except where immediate action is required to make a danger safe.
-
Step 5
Testing and Certification
The completed work will be inspected and tested, with the appropriate electrical certificate and notification supplied where required.
Clear Information Before Work Begins
For straightforward services, photographs and relevant property information may allow us to provide a quotation without a site visit. Larger installations, fault-finding work and projects involving uncertain existing conditions may need further assessment.
Where fixed prices are published, such as for domestic EICRs, customers can view the current price and booking information on the relevant service page.
If additional work is identified during testing or installation, it will be explained and quoted separately before proceeding, except where immediate action is necessary to make an electrical danger safe.
Properly Tested and Certified Electrical Work
Electrical installation work will be inspected and tested as required, with the appropriate certificate provided following completion and technical review. Where domestic work is notifiable under the Building Regulations, AC1 Electrical Services Ltd can arrange the applicable Part P notification through its competent-person registration.
If inspection or installation work identifies an existing defect outside the agreed scope, we will explain the finding and the available next steps.
Respectful Electrical Work in Occupied Properties
Our electricians are experienced in working in occupied homes. We aim to communicate clearly, attend within the agreed appointment arrangements, protect the immediate working area and minimise avoidable disruption.
